The Sagkeeng Justice Project (SJP) held a community consultation meeting on Dec 20, 2023 to share the data and responses collected through the SJP Survey that was conducted Aug to Nov 2023.
The intent of the meeting was to also consult with the community on the proposed plans and activities of the SJP, which would take place in the next months, up to March 31st, 2024, when the Justice Canada funding will subsequently end.
The majority of attendees expressed a preference to have the meeting rescheduled to after the holidays and wanted to meet on Wednesday January 10th, 2024.
