VLT Cashier Full-time
Under the guidance of the shift Supervisor, the VLT Cashier is responsible for providing superior customer service to patrons by answering questions and accurately conducting transactions involving redemption of VLT tickets.
DUTIES:
- Provide customer service in a courteous and professional manner,
- Insuring the legitimacy of all transactions,
- Responsible for accepting cash and redeeming VLT tickets for cash,
- Verifying cash counts,
- Enforce policies, procedures and rules,
- Accurately and fully fill out paperwork and do reports as required,
- Communicate with patrons, fellow workers and supervisors,
- Perform other duties as assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Grade 10
- Previous cash handling experience,
- Experience working with computers,
- Attention to detail is a must,
- Ability to work as part of a team and independently as required,
- Ability to perform basic mathematical operations and calculate amounts as required,
- Front line customer service experience is an asset,
- Able and willing to maintain flexible work schedule,
- Ability to work with others in a limited space
