TIM HORTONS
MANAGER
Full-Time (Permanent Position)

DESCRIPTION:

We are looking for a motivated and skilled Restaurant Manager to lead our Tim Hortons team in delivering exceptional customer experiences. The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced environment, overseeing daily operations while ensuring high standards of quality and cleanliness.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Model excellent customer service, address and resolve issues promptly, maintain proper staffing levels, and train staff on operational efficiency.
  • Promote open communication, manage hiring and onboarding processes, document training, supervise staff, and ensure compliance with employment legislation.
  • Understand baking systems, ensure effective product merchandising, promote offerings to local businesses, and implement staff incentives.
  • Manage cash handling, analyze KPIs, complete financial reports, maintain inventory, and ensure food safety standards

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • 1-2 years of food service management experience.
  • High school diploma or GED (must be at least 18 years old).
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills to effectively lead and motivate a diverse team.
  • Oversee daily restaurant operations, ensuring adherence to Tim Hortons standards for quality, service, and cleanliness.
  • Manage inventory and cash handling processes accurately and efficiently, ensuring financial accountability.
  • Ensure compliance with all health, safety, and employment regulations, maintaining a safe and supportive work environment.
  • Conduct regular evaluations of store operations, providing actionable insights and strategies for improvement.
  • Valid Class 5 driver’s license (or ability to obtain within six months) and willingness to travel.
  • Anishinaabemowin proficiency and familiarity with Sagkeeng culture are assets.
  • Previous experience with First Nations governments or Indigenous organizations is preferred.
  • Successful candidates must provide a Criminal Record/Vulnerable Sector Check and Child Abuse Registry Check.
  • The successful candidate will attend four (4) weeks of Tim University training in Oakville, Ontario
